Artist, painter based in Como, Tara began her career with self-portraits and portraits of familiar people, using different materials such as acrylic, oil, spray paints and pastels at first, then entering into a more “experimental” journey, trying to show other types of figures and expressions expanding the variety of elements used, such as iron, copper with their oxidations and collages of various types between the abstract and figurative.
Her style is characterized by scratches, spatula marks and brush strokes which, with digging leave obvious marks and scars of time, as she defines them.
She translates her emotions and restlessness onto canvas, giving life to intense images with an immediate impact inhabiting the silent space between conceptual narrative and technical narrative.
